ARE IMMIGRATION OFFICERS ALLOWED TO SEARCH AND READ EVERYTHING YOU HAVE?

Sammy was channel during the us as well as mexican limit to revisit upon the b1/b2 visa. Had no thought it would so most difficulty when she revisit really simply during the airport. The lady poke all as well as review all as well as afterwards cancelled her visa. The immigration military officer had no thought what she was you do as well as was asking everybody for help. The alternative immigration officers did not determine to what she was you do as well as still authorised Sammy to go across.
Thanks Fred S.
This occur the integrate years ago though she right away have permanent residency, though encourages visitors to fly.

Only with reasonable doubt. They can’t just start frisking for no reason.

The United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is permitted to search travelers and their belongings at the American border without probable cause or a warrant. These searches are exempted from the Fourth Amendment warrant requirement. Pursuant to this authority, CBP may generally stop and search the property of any traveler entering or exiting the United States at random, or even based largely on ethnic profiles.

However, CBP may only conduct searches of the traveler’s body — including strip, body cavity, involuntary x-ray, and in some jurisdictions, pat-down searches — if the Customs officer has reasonable suspicion to believe the traveler is concealing contraband.

The Supreme Court has ruled over and over again that the power of search at ports of entry is unlimited.

EDIT: It appears that the “other immigration officers” who let Sammy in were wrong.

It used to be that the immigration had to have reasonable cause – NOT any more though

Now they can search anyone at all for NO reason at all – this is called MAJOR INVASION of privacy

Treating EVERYONE like a TERRORIST – they assume that everyone visiting is a terrorist first and is only innocent after they have proved that the person is not a terrorist.

sammy needs to STAY AWAY from the USA
