I’m a law student. My boss is retiring. He is the firm. No boss; no firm; no job(s) (we’re all kind of screwed).

I was wondering what the courts in Cleveland, Lorain and Medina Ohio pay criminal defense lawyers for taking indigent clients. Also it might help to know what other courts pay. How does one get a case assigned to them?

Hi my high school is doing Mock Trial and I am extremely confused on what to ask a witness. I am part of the defense team trying to tell the jury that my client did not “Aggravatingly Assaulted” another person with a metal chair but in fact accidentally struck the person; while in the process that my client want it to take the metal chair away from a student.

Can you please help me know what should I ask the witnesses for both sides? (witness for the defense and prosecution)

and can you please explain all the phases of the process; I don’t know what my teacher (the judge) says: “if the counsel would like to cross examine” means, there is also another question the judge asks each side if they would like to do something. Sorry I can’t remember.

Some girl texted me and was harassing me, saying really bad things, so I went ahead and said something really nasty, but that shut her up! she said she was going to save the text and show it to the principle. If I do get called down tomorrow, I am probably going to get arrested. I don’t care, I’ma just say to her and in front of the principle that I am going to take her to court. I am 17 and yes, I do have tons of money that I can afford a lawyer. But at what age do I have to be to have a lawyer ?

The Prosecution(A Christian Coalition) has charged Jesus with existing. I am his attorney.
The evidence they have submitted is this: The Bible, Josephus. Josephus’ writings of Jesus have been proven to be a later addition, and the Bible is hearsay.
Instead of an acquittal, I am seeking to have the case dropped because none of the evidence is admissible in court.
Christianity spread because of how charismatic Paul was. He was also epileptic. People most likely mistook his seizures for religious experiences.

Suppose a person in his or her forties is brought to trial for a crime committed at age fifteen. A defense lawyer would want the trial to be held in juvenile which would mean different trial rules.

I was arrested 18yrs ago, (grand theft shoplifting) used an alas name. Now Im in school for nursing and I need to do a 2nd level beckground check( fingerprint). I want to resolve this matter by hiring an attorney. Should I hire a greek lawyerwho practice (aristotle law) or a former prosectuor? Please help.

I filed a small claims case (i have no attorney) and the defendant’s attorney (defendant is a corporation) was just notified of trial. The attorney tried to call me but I didn’t pick up. I’m not sure why he would call…perhaps to settle? Should I talk to him?

Can a court-appointed defense lawyer be taken off the case by request, and another assigned to it, if the lawyer truely believes the defense is guilty?

I’ve always had this dream of becoming a lawyer but I have realized I don’t know a lot about the law or becoming a lawyer. HELP! Im graduating this year in hopes that I can move onto law school and pursue my dream career of being a criminal defense lawyer.
