POLL: Do you think you’d make a good Defense Lawyer for alleged criminals that the public hates?
For instance, take the Tuscon, Arizona massacre that happened yesterday. They’ve arrested and charged the 22 year-old guy who killed all those people and shot the Congresswoman. If you were a Defense Lawyer, do you think you could do a good job defending him?
As an LEO, were there ever certain defense lawyers or public defenders that you respected?
Or did you pretty much dislike them all? I’m kind of curious about this, since my dad was an LEO, and I was a public defender for a while, and then I was an LEO union lawyer. I’ve seen the system from a few different angles.
public defender…why do people become a publice defender when the could go out and work for a law firm?
