The Concrete Lawyer offers a very enjoyable plotline. Every lawyer practicing in the Philadelphia area will find something in it to relate to, and if you like Paris, then you are definitely in for a treat. Well written and entertaining!
Barrist succeeds with flying colors in his first novel. If you are Philadelphian like me, you will enjoy the perpetual references to the city’s hotspots and unique linguistic culture. When is the next book coming out?!
This first novel by Barrist was fantastic, a real page turner. The book really quenched my thirst for intrigue through the voice of clever Philadelphia lawyer. if you like James Patterson novels you will definitely enjoy reading The Concrete Lawyer. The author really knows Philly and got the accent perfectly. As a 4th generation Philadelphian, i found myself laughing at many of the characters as described in perfect detail. You will not be disappointed with this book!
